Muhammad Haroon Munir
Physiotherapist
Doctor Of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Master of Health Administration, Policy and Leadership
Haroon is a physiotherapist with a particular interest in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee and ankle pain and injuries. He also provides rehabilitation following workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents and orthopaedic surgery, supporting patients as they work towards returning to everyday activities, employment and exercise.
Haroon places active listening and patient-centred care at the centre of his approach. He takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, how their condition is affecting their daily life, and the goals that are most important to them. Through thorough assessment and clear, practical explanations, he helps patients better understand their condition and feel informed and involved throughout their recovery.
His treatment approach may include individualised exercise rehabilitation, hands-on therapy where appropriate, education, pain-management strategies, activity modification and gradual return to activity. Treatment focuses on improving movement, rebuilding strength and function, and helping patients develop confidence in managing their recovery both inside and outside the clinic.
Haroon values collaboration with GPs and other treating health professionals to support coordinated care, particularly for patients undergoing rehabilitation following workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, surgery or ongoing musculoskeletal conditions.
Haroon completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Multan Medical and Dental College in Pakistan and holds a Master of Health Administration, Policy and Leadership from Murdoch University in Western Australia. His clinical experience includes working across tertiary hospital settings in outpatient, orthopaedic, neurological, surgical and rehabilitation care, giving him experience working with patients of different ages and a wide range of rehabilitation needs.
Haroon speaks English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys gardening, gaming and cricket.
