Giulia Marks
Physiotherapist
B.Sc. (Physiotherapy)
Giulia graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from La Sapienza University of Rome in 2020 before completing a Master's Degree in Musculoskeletal and Rheumatological Physiotherapy at the same university in 2023. Through her postgraduate training, she specialised in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the entire body.
In recognition of her clinical and academic abilities, Giulia was invited to join the Master's program as a Teaching Assistant in 2024 before becoming a Lecturer in 2025 at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. Alongside her academic roles, she worked in private practice, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative patients, while also running her own private practice.
A former competitive swimmer for over 10 years, Giulia's passion for physiotherapy grew from her love of sport and her own experience as a patient. Having overcome several injuries with the support of her physiotherapist—who also happens to be her father—she developed a genuine appreciation for the positive impact physiotherapy can have on people's lives.
Giulia is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and regain confidence in their bodies. She finds the greatest satisfaction in helping patients return to activities they thought pain had taken away from them—or giving them the confidence to try something completely new. Her treatment approach is guided by the latest scientific evidence, combined with her clinical experience and tailored to each patient's individual goals and needs.
Whether you're looking to recover from an injury, manage persistent pain, or optimise your performance, Giulia looks forward to helping you achieve your goals. And if you happen to enjoy the ocean, she'd be just as happy to see you for a surf session as a physiotherapy session!
